The text below outlines the terms and conditions governing participation in the event organized by Aydan Baghirova, hereinafter referred to as the “organizer.”

The event “Expats Networking Event | Empowering International Talents to Succeed” scheduled for 25.05.2024 in Berlin, aimed at expats and those interested in expat-related topics, will be referred to as the “Event.”

Individuals purchasing tickets and intending to attend the Event will be referred to as “Participants.”

By purchasing tickets and intending to attend the Event, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions:

Event Purpose and Participant Eligibility:
– The Event is exclusively for expats and individuals interested in expat-related matters. Sales professionals are kindly requested to refrain from attending with the intention of promoting their products or services. The Event is designed for networking, learning, and community-building among expats. Participants found engaging in sales pitches or promotional activities will be asked to leave. The organizers reserve the right to refund Event ticket purchases and refuse attendance at their discretion.

Participant Responsibilities:
– Registration: Participants must accurately and promptly complete the registration process, providing all required information as requested by the organizers.
– Attendance: Participants are expected to attend the Event punctually and remain for the duration of the scheduled activities unless prior arrangements have been made with the organizers.
– Professionalism: Participants must maintain a professional demeanor throughout the Event, treating organizers, fellow participants, and representatives from participating organizations with respect and courtesy.
– Compliance: Participants must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and venue policies, as well as any additional instructions or guidelines provided by the organizers.

GDPR:
– By participating in the Event, Participants acknowledge and consent to the collection, processing, and storage of their personal data by the organizer for the purposes of event organization and communication.
– Participants have the right to access their personal data held by the organizer and to request its correction or deletion if inaccurate or no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
– The organizer will not share Participants’ personal data with third parties without their explicit consent unless required by law or necessary for the performance of the Event.
– Participants have the right to withdraw their consent for the processing of their personal data at any time by contacting the organizer directly.

Photos and Videos:
– By participating in the Event, Participants agree that photos and videos taken may be shared on websites, social media platforms, and other publications by the organizer or their partners.
– Participants can revoke this consent at any time by contacting the organizer directly.

Intellectual Property Rights:
– Ownership: Any intellectual property, including but not limited to presentations, materials, and ideas shared or created during the event, remains the property of the respective owners.

– Restrictions: Participants may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any intellectual property shared or created during the event without the explicit consent of the owner.

– Enforcement: The organizers reserve the right to enforce intellectual property rights and take appropriate action against any unauthorized use or infringement.

Liability and Indemnity:
– Disclaimer: While the organizers will take reasonable measures to ensure participant safety and security during the Event, they cannot be held liable for any loss, damage, injury, or inconvenience suffered by Participants.
– Indemnification: Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless the organizers, their officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, losses, damages, or expenses arising from their participation in the Event.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:
– Cancellation by Participant: Participants unable to attend the Event must notify the organizers as soon as possible.
– Refund Eligibility: Participants may be eligible for a refund of their registration fee under specific circumstances, including cancellation by the organizers or a refund request submitted at least one week before the Event.
– Refund Requests: To request a refund, Participants must submit a written request to the organizers via email, including their name, registration details, reason for the refund, and the payment method used.
– Cancellation by Organizer: In the event of Event cancellation or rescheduling by the organizers, Participants will be promptly notified, and alternative arrangements may be offered at the organizers’ discretion.

Event Location:
– The Event location is subject to change, and Participants will be notified promptly of any changes. In the event of a change in location, Participants reserve the right to cancel their ticket if the new location is not suitable. Refund requests due to an unsuitable location should be submitted in accordance with the Cancellation and Refund Policy outlined.

– The Event date is 25.05.2024 but it is subject to change, and Participants will be notified promptly of any changes. In the event of a date change, Participants reserve the right to cancel their ticket if the new date is not suitable. Refund requests due to an unsuitable date should be submitted in accordance with the Cancellation and Refund Policy outlined.

Event Program and Services:

– Participants acknowledge that the organizer retains full discretion over the program, catering arrangements, and provision of information at the Event. The organizer reserves the right to modify the Event program and services based on factors such as the number of participants and logistical considerations. Therefore, Participants are advised that claims regarding specific catering arrangements, the amount of information provided, or other aspects of the Event program are not guaranteed and are subject to the organizer’s discretion.

Event Format and Attendance:

– This event is designated as a networking event, and Participants should note that attendance may vary from a minimum of 5 to potentially 50 or more individuals. Therefore, there should be no claims regarding the event format. The format remains subject to change based on the number of participants and organizational requirements.

Communication with Organizers:
– All communication with the organizers, including inquiries, requests, and notifications, must be conducted via email at info@aydanbaghirova.de. Participants are encouraged to use this designated email address for all correspondence related to the Event.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction:
– These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the German courts. By purchasing an Event ticket and participating in this Event, Participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
